Tube change

Today was my first tube change! I've never done it before and it seems to have gone smoothly! The only thing I'm curious about is why my tire says recommended 115-125 psi and I had it up to 40 psi and it seemed pretty firm. Maybe it was the pump that was off or something. I'm not sure. I've been with out my bike for a couple months now and I hate it. I'm so glad to have it back. Now I need to start riding around again!
